GPIL follows 3Rs of water conservation i.e. Recirculation, Reclamation, and Reuse of water. We have a motto of “ZERO WATER DISCHARGE” i.e. Elimination of discharge of waste water (treated or untreated) into the external environment.

Reclaimed water is utilized for cooling water make-up and the bleed off from cooling water system is being recycled and used for dust suppression and green belt development activities. Also, water consumption is monitored through Flow meters and water audit which is being carried at regular intervals to find out any water leakages or misuse of it.
